Senior Associate
Ikenna is a Senior Associate in Kanyi Karibi-Whyte & Hastrup.
He is actively involved in Capital Markets, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Energy and Maritime practices of the firm.
Ikenna graduated from University of Nigeria Nsukka with a Second Class Upper Honours. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and World Economy from the School of Law, University of East London graduating with a Distinction in International Environmental Law for his work in Regulation of composition and disposal of Information Technology Gadgets in Nigeria and United Kingdom.
Ikenna’s advisory and advocacy experience spans through a wide spectrum of contentious matters in debt recovery and general litigations. He commands strong expertise in advising governmental agencies and financial institutions in capital markets transactions especially mergers and acquisitions and also in advising companies in energy and environmental law.
He has recently played a key role in providing legal counsel for the divestment of AMCON’s interests in Keystone Bank and Consolidated Discounts Limited.
Ikenna is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, and African Renewable Energy Alliance.
