Emeka Benedict Onyeabor
Profile
Emeka is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group of the firm. He graduated from the University of Lagos in 2011 with Second Class Upper Division in Law. He was awarded Scholar of his graduating class and Best Student in Commercial Law.
Before joining the firm, Emeka worked at the law firm of Sam Ogungbamila & Co where he honed his skills and experience in litigation. He has broad experience in representing clients in appellate courts. He was also key member of the team that advised AMCON in the divestments of its shareholdings in Keystone Bank Plc and Consolidated Discounts Limited, particularly with respect to the due diligence requirements of the transactions.
Emeka is an astute litigator and is presently representing AMCON in a multi-billion Naira suit against a company and its directors.
Emeka’s areas of practice include labour law, property law practice and corporate restructuring.
He is a member of Nigeria Bar Association.
