
Dagogo Karibi-Whyte
Dagogo is the Managing Partner of the firm. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1993 from Lagos State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998. He began his legal career with the Law firm of Professor Abiodun Adesanya & Co., where he worked for two years between 1993-1995. From there he proceeded to the chambers of Ajumogobia & Okeke where he served as an Associate for five years. Whilst at Ajumogobia & Okeke he took part in a lot of high profile matters including the Mobil Producing Nigeria Limited Oso condensate-financing project, the verification and handling of suits that emanated from the 1998 Idoho oil spill. A consummate negotiator, he has been involved in a variety of negotiations locally and abroad and continues to render legal advice to various multinational companies in Nigeria.
Dagogo’s areas of expertise include Foreign Investments, Joint Ventures, Acquisitions and Disposals, Oil and Gas, Intellectual Property, Corporate Restructuring and Project Development & Finance. He has also conducted several litigation matters on behalf of the firm’s clients.
He is a member of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association and a member of the International Bar Association.
